It differed greatly because Lincoln was going to forgive the South, and give rights to the black people, but the Reconstruction was very different from that.
ReplyDeleteIt helps me understand that Andrew did not carry out the plan and made things worse and as a result the people revolted.
my names is adimu & i learned that lincoln had a secret weapon named Grant to help him succeed in the war between the north & the south.

i think that would havr forgiven the south for thier behavior with the help of the reconstruction.
